About Me

Thoughtful design. Solid systems. Calm execution.

For over two decades, I’ve been designing and building digital experiences that balance clarity, creativity, and performance. My work sits at the intersection of design and technology — where thoughtful storytelling meets clean, efficient systems.

I don’t approach websites as one-off deliverables. I approach them as systems that need to work today, scale tomorrow, and remain understandable long after launch. That perspective shapes everything I build, from visual design and typography to performance tuning and long-term maintainability.

Design is how things communicate. Not just how they look.

Good design isn’t decoration. It’s structure, hierarchy, and intent. It’s making sure content is easy to understand, interfaces feel intuitive, and nothing gets in the user’s way.

When I design and develop a site, I focus on:

  • Clear information hierarchy

  • Calm, intentional layouts

  • Typography that’s readable and confident

  • Performance that feels fast, not fragile

The goal is always the same: create something that feels solid, trustworthy, and easy to live with.

A blend of design instinct and technical discipline

I started early — taking programming classes in high school before earning a degree in Multimedia Design. That blend of logic and creativity still defines how I work today.

Over the years, I’ve:

  • Operated as a one-person design and development studio for boutique agencies

  • Served as the sole designer and developer at a global SaaS company with hundreds of employees

  • Built WordPress and Shopify sites from the ground up

  • Supported global events, campaigns, and marketing initiatives

  • Designed across web, print, and digital media

That range taught me how to move comfortably between creative direction, technical execution, and clear communication — whether I’m collaborating with an agency, working alongside internal teams, or partnering directly with clients.

Built to be fast, stable, and maintainable

I’m deeply performance-focused — not as a gimmick, but as a baseline expectation. A site that feels fast feels professional. A site that’s stable builds trust.

My work emphasizes:

  • Clean, modern WordPress builds using state-of-the-art approaches

  • Thoughtful use of visual builders without sacrificing structure

  • Lean asset loading and optimized media workflows

  • SEO-aware layouts and content structure

  • Accessibility and usability baked in from the start

I care as much about what isn’t loaded as what is.

AI as an assistant, not a replacement

The right fit matters

These days, I partner with clients and agencies who value:

  • Quality over shortcuts

  • Clear communication

  • Thoughtful collaboration

  • Sustainable, long-term solutions

My goal isn’t just to “build a site.” It’s to create something that fits your goals, scales gracefully, and gives you confidence every time you hit “publish.”

The Tools I Use — and Why

I choose tools the same way I design websites: deliberately, with long-term performance and maintainability in mind. My stack favors clarity, stability, and speed over trends or shortcuts.

Most projects are built on WordPress, using a combination of Kadence and Elementor Pro where each makes sense — Kadence for lean, system-driven layouts and Elementor for targeted, highly controlled interfaces. I rely on ACF and structured data to keep content flexible without creating editorial complexity.

On the infrastructure side, I run sites on Linux + Nginx, with modern PHP and a performance-focused database stack, fronted by Cloudflare for security and global delivery. This approach keeps sites fast, resilient, and easy to maintain long after launch.

Tools change. Principles don’t. I optimize for outcomes — not trends.
